Neighbourhood Watch is an ongoing series of works inspired by the changing built environments of the city. The triptych(I-III) invites the consideration of the constructed form; the scenes question what constitutes home in a globalized metropolis and for whom.
Tower: Obscured ground. Up and down are interchangeable. Perhaps merit and worth as well.
Home: The boundary between public and private has been torn away, exposing man-made honeycombs.
Bed: Ice rests on top of the vinyl stain-proof shelter mattress and the red of the Canadian coffee cup stands frozen, both a temporary promise of warmth.
